Mental Health Doesn’t Wait. Neither Do We.

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS)

Immediate, on-site crisis support for youth, right where they are.

MRSS is a no-cost service providing rapid behavioral health crisis response for youth ages 20 and under across Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clinton counties. By calling 988 and requesting MRSS, a trained team will arrive, often within an hour, to de-escalate the situation, ensure safety, and create a plan for what comes next.

How Does MRSS Work

  • Call 988 and ask for MRSS. If it feels like a crisis, support is available.
  • We come to you quickly. A trained team meets the youth at home, school, or another safe location, often within an hour.
  • We stabilize the moment. We provide de-escalation, ensure safety, and create a plan together.
  • We stay involved. We offer follow-up support for up to 72 hours, with ongoing stabilization services for up to 42 days when needed.

If your child has a specific plan to end their life or there is an immediate safety concern, please go to your local emergency room, call 911, or call 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
