Best Point Education & Behavioral Health Hosted Rockin’ At Riverfest Annual Fundraiser

Best Point Education & Behavioral Health hosted their 2024 Rockin at Riverfest fundraising gala on Sunday, September 1st at The Annie W. & Elizabeth Anderson Pavilion in Smale Park. The premier fundraiser, sponsored by The Unnewehr and Edelweiss Foundations and presented by The Heidt Family Foundation, raised $670,000 to fund the Best Point mission. “We are grateful for the support of our sponsors and excited at the phenomenal success of this year’s Rockin’ at Riverfest,” said John Banchy, Best Point’s President and CEO. “We are thrilled to have exceeded our fundraising goal of $550,000, all to support the 30+ programs and services that help the most vulnerable in our city.”

The evening consisted of dinner, music, live and silent auctions, fireworks and an after party. Jim Hobson was honored with this year’s Servant’s Heart Award for his unwavering dedication and countless hours of service to Best Point Education & Behavioral Health. This year’s 2024 Rockin at Riverfest event co-chairs for Sunday night’s gala were Jane & Chip Gerhardt, Christy & Terry Horan, and Betty & Bill Tonne. Next year’s 2025 Rockin at Riverfest fundraising gala will be on Sunday, August 31, 2025, with Jenna & Tad DeBord, Gail & Steve Mullinger, and Jennifer & Matthew Wormington as next year’s event co-chairs.
