H.U.G.S Holiday Gift Program 2026
Share the joy this holiday season!
Help us spread holiday cheer by donating toys, warm clothing, and essential items for children and families in need. Every donation brings comfort, joy, and a reminder that our community cares.
Denise Johnson Hubbard, full-time traffic reporter for B105, Q102, Mix 94.9 and 97.3 The Wolf, is serving as Co-Chair of Best Point’s HUGS program.
What are the giving options to participate in H.U.G.S?
Sponsor An Individual
Our goal is to fulfill 500-600 wish lists this holiday season! Each individual creates a personalized wish list of items they would love to receive. You can sponsor as many individuals as you’d like.
Estimated cost: $100-$150 per individual
After completing the sponsorship form, you will receive an email with:
- Your assigned individual(s)
- Their wish list items
- Clothing sizes and details
- Delivery deadlines and instructions
What to Purchase
Each sponsored individual will receive:
- Sweatpants
- Sweatshirt
- Graphic T-shirt (sports teams or age-appropriate themes)
- Socks
- Underwear
- Specialty item(s) from their wish list
- NEW: $25 gift card (Amazon, Target, or Walmart)
Important Instructions
- Place all items for each individual in one bag or box.
- Please do not wrap gifts. Putting the items in a bag or box is sufficient.
- Label each bag or box with the individual’s first name and assigned number.
- Gift bags are welcome and appreciated.

Give A Monetary/Gift Card Donation
This holiday season, your donation will bring joy, warmth, and relief to families facing hardship. We accept donations in a variety of ways to make giving easier for you:
- Checks: Make checks payable to Best Point Education & Behavioral Health. You can mail or drop it off to 5050 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227 addressed to the Department of Advancement with HUGS as the memo.
- Online Donations: Click Here to donate securely through our online platform. ***The text field marked, “Please designate my gift toward:”, please put HUGS.
- Cash: Cash donations can be dropped off at or mailed to our main campus location: 5050 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227 addressed to the Department of Advancement with HUGS as the memo.
- ***Gift Cards: We need gift cards for our families! Gift cards are especially meaningful because they empower families to choose what they need most. Whether it’s groceries, winter clothing, or a special gift for their child, a gift card gives them the dignity of choice and the ability to make their holiday season brighter in a way that suits their personal needs. Purchase Items For Our Resource Center
We are excited to share a general wish list that serves a dual purpose. By shopping from this list, you will help us bridge the gaps for our holiday HUGS gift drive. Your contributions will also help us replenish and restock our Shipley Resource Center, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to continue offering support to individuals and families in our community throughout the year.
Each item on the list has been carefully selected to address current needs and to help us better serve those who rely on us. The items are used as tools to expand the child’s vulnerability by disarming them so they have a clear path to communicate to our mental health professionals to receive the help the need. Your generosity will directly impact the success of our efforts and help us make a lasting difference.

Volunteer! Help Us Sort & Pack Gifts
We need your help to make this holiday season special for the children in our community! We’re looking for volunteers to help pack gift bags and deliver gifts for our HUGS holiday gift drive. Your time and effort will directly impact the lives of these children and their families, spreading joy and hope during the holidays. Whether you’re available to help pack, deliver, or both, we’d love to have you join us in making a difference.

Parking: Visitor’s Parking Spaces (in front of the building) or General Parking Lot
Volunteers Needed: 5-20 per day
We need volunteers to help sort, pack and tag the gifts for the children.
