Many children face the holidays without the warmth of a new coat or the joy of a simple toy. By giving, you’re providing comfort, spreading happiness, and showing families in need that they are not alone. Every item you donate brings light to their lives and reminds them that there is a community that cares.

Ready to get started?
Sponsor A Child or # of Children
Our goal is to fulfill 500-600 wish lists this year! Each child has a list of items that they have specifically said that they want for the holiday season. You can sponsor as many children as you want!
Each gift bag will have not only 2-3 wish list items, but also essential items that they need such as a t-shirt or sweatshirt, athletic pants or sweatpants, a pair of socks and a pair of underwear. The gift packages tend to be between $75-$100 per children.

After you fill out the form, we will send you a direct email containing additional details and pairing you up with the child/# of children you agreed to sponsor. This includes sending you their wish list items, dates that we needs to items dropped off or sent to us by and other purchasing perimeters.

Give A Monetary/Gift Card Donation
This holiday season, your donation will bring joy, warmth, and relief to families facing hardship. We accept donations in a variety of ways to make giving easier for you:
- Checks: Make checks payable to Best Point Education & Behavioral Health. You can mail or drop it off to 5050 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227 addressed to the Department of Advancement with HUGS as the memo.
- Online Donations: Click Here to donate securely through our online platform. ***The text field marked, “Please designate my gift toward:”, please put HUGS.
- Cash: Cash donations can be dropped off at or mailed to our main campus location: 5050 Madison Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227 addressed to the Department of Advancement with HUGS as the memo.
- ***Gift Cards: We need gift cards for our families! Gift cards are especially meaningful because they empower families to choose what they need most. Whether it’s groceries, winter clothing, or a special gift for their child, a gift card gives them the dignity of choice and the ability to make their holiday season brighter in a way that suits their personal needs. Purchase Items For Our Resource Center
We are excited to share a general wish list that serves a dual purpose. By shopping from this list, you will help us bridge the gaps for our holiday HUGS gift drive. Your contributions will also help us replenish and restock our Shipley Resource Center, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to continue offering support to individuals and families in our community throughout the year.
Each item on the list has been carefully selected to address current needs and to help us better serve those who rely on us. The items are used as tools to expand the child’s vulnerability by disarming them so they have a clear path to communicate to our mental health professionals to receive the help the need. Your generosity will directly impact the success of our efforts and help us make a lasting difference.

Volunteer & Help Us Pack/Deliver Gifts
We need your help to make this holiday season special for the children in our community! We’re looking for volunteers to help pack gift bags and deliver gifts for our HUGS holiday gift drive. Your time and effort will directly impact the lives of these children and their families, spreading joy and hope during the holidays. Volunteers Needed: 5-8 per day
We need volunteers to help sort, pack and tag the gifts for the children.

Deliver Gift Bags

Volunteers Needed: 6-8 per day
We need volunteers to assist with the gift distribution process after the gifts are packed. This includes staff picking up their gifts for the children and/or delivering the gifts to the right building so staff can retrieve the gift packages.
