COUNSELING
When children experience social, emotional or interpersonal difficulties, it affects their behavior and interferes with their daily lives.
Best Point Education & Behavioral Health provides individual and family counseling services to improve the functioning of the child and the family. These services are provided on Best Point Education & Behavioral Health Madison Road campus and in home, school, and community settings.
Specialty areas of focus include:
- School-based counseling
- Counseling for youth who have experienced a traumatic event(s)
- Counseling for Caregivers
- Substance use counseling
- Family counseling
- Attachment therapy
- Theraplay
- Infant mental health
This office-based mental health treatment service is available to parents and caregivers of children currently receiving services from Best Point Education & Behavioral Health. Therapists utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches, dependent on the individual needs of the client. These include: cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness and client-centered therapy.
