Best Point Education & Behavioral Health successfully hosted its 2025 Rockin at Riverfest fundraising gala on Sunday, August 31st at the Annie W. & Elizabeth Anderson Pavillion in Smale Park. This year’s premier fundraiser, sponsored by the Unnewehr and Edelweiss Foundations and presented by the Heidt Family Foundation, raised over $800,000 in support of Best Point’s mission. “We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming generosity of our sponsors and guests,” said John Banchy, President and CEO of Best Point. “Exceeding our fundraising goals allows us to sustain and grow more than 50+ programs and services empowering our city’s most vulnerable children.”
The evening consisted of dinner, music, live and silent auctions, fireworks and an after party. Sharon Williams Frisbie was honored posthumously with this year’s Servant’s Heart Award. Pam Sibcy and Dr. Robert Heidt, Jr. accepted the award on her behalf-celebrating her twenty-two years of dedicated service, her spirit of generosity, and her lasting impact on Best Point’s mission. In her honor, Best Point also announced the establishment of the Sharon Williams Frisbie Scholarship, a new scholarship dedicated to carrying forward her lifelong passion for supporting families and children.
This year’s 2025 Rockin at Riverfest event co-chairs for Sunday night’s gala were Jenna & Tad DeBord, Gail & Steve Mullinger, and Jennifer & Matthew Wormington and honorary co-chair Wes Miller. Next year’s 2026 Rockin at Riverfest fundraising gala will be on Sunday, September 6, 2026, with Nicole & Melvyn Heard, Jill & Rick Warman, and Tammy & Lars Andersson as co-chairs of next year’s event.
