CINCINNATI –Best Point Education & Behavioral Health had a great night kicking off their premier annual fundraiser, Rockin’ at Riverfest, at the home of Jenna and Tad DeBord.
Hosted by the 2025 Rockin’ at Riverfest co-chairs Jenna & Tad DeBord, Gail & Steve Mullinger, Jennifer & Matthew Wormington, and honorary co-chair Wes Miller, the kickoff is a celebration of what is now one of our tri-state’s largest events. Rockin’ at Riverfest is hosted for a remarkable cause and our co-chairs have raised over $420,000 already. Thank you, co-chairs and our title sponsors, The Unnewehr and Edelweiss Foundations and Presenting Sponsor the Heidt Family Foundation.
The event, held on Wednesday, June 18th, was attended by many of the event’s sponsors and some of the region’s businesses including: Emerge IT, Fort Washington Investment Advisors, HORAN Wealth, Foundation Risk Partners, Mike & Mary McGraw, Williams Family Foundation, Brendamour Warehouses, Dean & Anne Keriakes, Gorilla Glue, USI, and Encore Talent.
“We are grateful for the support of our sponsors and have been working with our co-chairs to make Rockin’ at Riverfest a phenomenal success,” said John Banchy, Best Point’s President and CEO. “Our goal is to surpass former years and raise over $700,000 at this year’s Rockin’ at Riverfest to support the 40+ programs and services that help the most vulnerable in our city.”
As a special moment during the evening, Owen Berta, a student at Best Point’s Heidt Center of Excellence, performed a piano piece for guests, showcasing the talent and potential that Best Point & Heidt Center of Excellence nurtures every day. His performance was a moving reminder of the organization’s mission to help children build the skills and confidence they need to succeed, while also supporting the families, schools, and communities that surround them.
Rockin’ at Riverfest 2025 will take place on August 31, 2025, at the Annie W. & Elizabeth Anderson Pavilion in Smale Riverfront Park. In addition, The Carousel Deck Party is a special program within Rockin’ at Riverfest with a premium view of the Riverfest fireworks. To participate in one of the city’s premier fundraising events and make a difference in the lives of others, please contact Tina Heintzman at theintzman@bestpoint.org for sponsorship information.
