Our model also creates opportunities for children to practice self-expression and develop positive relationships with peers and adults.

Camp-I-Can Also Teaches Important Skills

By attending Camp-I-Can at Best Point Education & Behavioral Health, campers enhance creativity, leadership & social skills while celebrating culture & diversity. Curriculum is designed to offer hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities. Our child-centered program approach includes opportunities for small and large group activities, dramatic play, science, art, music and movement, math, and literacy development. All of our programming adapts to the changing needs, interests, and abilities of the children in our care. This also allows us to provide curriculum that can be individualized to best fit the needs and interests of your child.

Camp-I- Can also offers field trips like:

  • Roller skating
  • The Splash Pad at Sawyer Point
  • Bowling trips
  • Picnics
  • Duke Energy Children’s Museum

Overseeing all camp activities is our encouraging and engaging staff who provide a safe, structured environment that incorporates learning & fun. Children are assigned to the same trained group lead daily – which provides consistency in relationship. Each group has a typical schedule that enables students to learn daily expectations. By building individual relationships with each child, staff are able to respond quickly to their needs and work to bring in activities that align with the interests of children.

To ensure the health and safety of children, families, and staff, Best Point Education & Behavioral Health adheres to CDC, Ohio’s Child Care and local health department guidelines for limiting the spread and exposure to COVID-19. For additional details, please CLICK HERE.
