Dr. Phil Lichtenstein, Best Point’s Longtime Medical Director and Volunteer, Retiring.

Best Point is honored to announce the retirement of our longtime Medical Director and volunteer, Dr. Phil Lichtenstein. Dr. Lichtenstein’s five-decade career was celebrated and his June retirement was announced at Best Point’s annual membership meeting and dinner on June 7, 2023.

With an unwavering dedication spanning over 50 years, Dr. Lichtenstein has made it his life’s mission to elevate the standards of healthcare, including mental health care, for children and families in our region. Throughout his career, Dr. Lichtenstein has made significant contributions in various capacities. Whether it be his longstanding private practice, his impactful work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, his commitment to the Olympus Center, his invaluable contributions to the board of the Cincinnati Health Department, or his current role as the Medical Director at The Children’s Home, now Best Point, Dr. Lichtenstein has positively transformed the lives of countless individuals and undoubtedly saved many as well.

Dr. Lichtenstein’s dedication, work ethic, and commitment to those he serves have garnered widespread recognition and praise throughout the tri-state area. Additionally, his relentless pursuit of integrating cutting-edge technologies, such as the GeneSight test and artificial intelligence solutions like Clarigent Health, into healthcare practices demonstrates his commitment to advancing the field and improving patient care. We are immensely grateful for Dr. Lichtenstein’s invaluable contributions and the profound impact he has made on our staff, the individuals we serve, and the long-term sustainability of our organization.

Since joining our organization as a board member in 2006, his presence has been a true gift, and his profound impact will be felt for generations to come. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lichtenstein, his presence will be deeply missed, and his impact will continue to inspire generations to come.
