Senator Jon Husted Recognizes Better Business Bureau® Cincinnati Torch and Spark Awards for Ethics Winners with U.S. Senate Commendations

Cincinnati, OH (November 4, 2025)- U.S. Senator Jon Husted, a member of the Senate Small Business Committee, formally recognized this year’s recipients of the Better Business Bureau® Cincinnati Torch Awards for Ethics and Spark Awards with official U.S. Senate commendations.

The commendations were presented during BBB’s Torch and Spark Awards Gala on October 23 by Derek Chancellor, Regional Director for Southwest Ohio in Senator Husted’s office, on behalf of the Senator.

The BBB Torch and Spark Awards honor businesses and leaders who demonstrate exceptional ethical standards and a commitment to integrity in the marketplace. Recognizing the importance of these values, Chancellor coordinated with BBB Cincinnati to provide additional acknowledgment to the Ohio-based business and nonprofit Torch and Spark Award winners.

Each Ohio-based awardee received a commendation signed by Senator Husted, recognizing their contributions to ethical business practices and their positive impact on the community.

BBB Cincinnati hopes to expand recognition in future years to include U.S. Senate commendations signed by respective senators representing Kentucky and Indiana, to honor awardees from all parts of BBB Cincinnati’s tri-state service territory.
