Future of Reading
The Future of Reading (FoR) program was designed to empower young children, especially those reading below grade level, to achieve reading proficiency by the 4th grade. It offers individualized reading lessons that are aligned with Science of Reading principles and delivered through a combination of recorded lessons and interactive support from Reading Coaches. Reading Coaches engage with students during lessons, providing real-time feedback and encouragement, designed to reinforce skills, validate progress, and build student’s confidence.
This tailored approach helps address specific reading challenges, fostering a supportive environment that promotes literacy development and equips students with the skills necessary for academic success. The Future of Reading program is being introduced as a part of the CoStars After School Enrichment program offered at Roberts Academy and Oyler School. We are grateful for our partners – Future of Reading and University of Cincinnati Bearcat Reading Buddies – who are helping us bring this program to our students.
